Nekrasov Nikolay Alekseevich (1821–1877/1878) – poet, prose writer and publicist. Born in a noble landowner family. At the age of 17, contrary to the will of his father, who wanted a military career for his son, he left for Petersburg to enter the university. For self -conference, his father deprived him of all material support, and, in order not to starve to death, Nekrasov was engaged in tutoring, composed poems and stories by order of the capital’s book traders, receiving pennies for this. Panaev acquired the magazine “Contemporary”, founded and. With. Pushkin. In 1862, the government suspended the publication for eight months, and in 1866 completely banned it. After a year and a half, Nekrasov rents “domestic notes” and together with m. E. Saltykov-Shchedrin since 1868 until his death remains the editor of this magazine. The distinctive features of his work were the image of the difficult life of the peasantry and the city poor, sympathy of a difficult female share. He himself said about himself: “I devoted to the lyre to my people,” and called my muse “muse of revenge and sadness”.
