Thaw. Yaroslavl

Posted on December 19, 2022December 21, 2022

The artist is Savrasov

The artist who sang the beauty of the native land, contemporaries called the “singer of the Volga”. Savrasov landscape is multidimensional in content. Lyrically exciting for the viewer is the very motive of the thaw, as a sign of spring awakening of nature. In addition, the landscape evokes an alarming feeling that covers a person at the end of the day, at dusk. The picture also sounds a solemn note when contemplating the monument of ancient Russian architecture.
