Among such famous canvases – "Rainbow" (1873, GTG), "Shipwreck" (1876, Theodosian art gallery. And. To. It is inspired by the realities of Crimean nature – the appearance of Cape Ayya in the vicinity of Balaklava, on the southern coast of Crimea. The canvas was one of the first exhibits of the Russian Museum and in its early inventory books is listed under No. 1. The picture of the same name 1879 is stored in the Dagestan Museum of Fine Arts in Makhachkala.
