Repin Ilya Efimovich (1844–1930) – painter, draftsman, teacher. Studied at the school of military topographers and with a painter and. M. Bunakova in Chuguev, then in the RS of OPX (1863) U and. N. Kramsky; In IAX (1864–1871). Pensioner of IAX in France and Italy – lived mainly in Paris. Academician (since 1876), professor (since 1892), a full member of the IAX (since 1893). Member of the TPHV (since 1878), the Vienna Secession (since the 1890s). Member of the exhibitions since 1865. He taught at VHU at the IAX (1893–1907) and in the Khsh Princess M. To. Tenisheva (1895–1899). Lived in the estate of the penalties near St. Petersburg (since 1900).
