Perov Vasily Grigoryevich (1834–1882) – painter; genre, portraitist, author of paintings on historical plots, teacher.

He studied at the Arzamas school of painting and sculpture a. AT. Stupina (1846–1849), in marshmallow (1853–1861) at E. I AM. Vasilieva, m. And. Scotti, a. N. Mokritsky, s. To. Zaryanko. Pensioner of IAX in France (1862–1864). Academician (1866). Professor (1870). Member of the founder of TPHV. He taught at Mucvz (1871–1882). Portrait Gallery of the Russian Museum. Persons of Russia. SPb. 2012. With. 158. The Russian Museum stores his paintings “Tupza”, “Pugachev Court”, “First Christians in Kyiv” and others.
