Among the Kuindzhi’s early work in the Museum of the Museum are a number of beautiful field sketches. As the artist was most often happened, they are not a utility material when working on paintings. In each of them, the master solves, first of all, picturesque problems.
In the study „Roofs. Winter “(1876) in the overall color structure of a work built on shades of lilac, gray, yellowish color, the artist skillfully introduces a section of unnecessary ocher soil.
