In each region, the shirts had features of cut and color scheme, a unique decor. Depending on the purpose of the shirt, it was decorated either modestly, placing narrow patterned stripes on the hem and shoulders, or covering the sleeves, hem, gate and breastplate or breeding and festive clothes with the ornament. These motives in antiquity had the meaning of the symbols of fertility, performed a protective function.
