Among the Kuindzhi’s early work in the Museum of the Museum are a number of beautiful field sketches. As the artist was most often happened, they are not a utility material when working on paintings. In each of them, the master solves, first of all, picturesque problems.
An interesting study is interesting „Forest in winter “(1870s) with reddish stains of sunset through trees. It already outlines the elements of the imagery that Kuindzhi will be developed in the future.
